Alyce Levett Speech Pathologist

Alyce Levett graduated with a Masters of Speech Pathology in 2015, after previously completing a Bachelor of Nursing and having worked as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. She is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who undergoes regular professional development and is committed to expanding her experience and knowledge, particularly in the area of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and assistive technology.

Alyce has worked in brain injury rehabilitation services as a Speech Pathologist for a number of years and is experienced in supporting people to recover following traumatic brain injuries and acquired brain injuries, including stroke. Alyce is especially passionate about providing an individualised service that promotes independence. She encourages family and carer involvement to maximise outcomes. Alyce has also worked with children and adults who have a wide range of disabilities, including autism, intellectual disability and down syndrome.

“I enjoy building professional relationships with my clients and spending the time to get to know what their interests and goals are – no matter how small or big! When I’m not working you could usually find me spending time with my family and pet cat (when he allows it).”
