Cognition Assessment, Therapy and Support

Cognitive difficulties can include difficulty with:

• being orientated to time and place
• memory for names, places and events
• planning and organising information
• problem-solving, logical reasoning and idea generation
• numerical processing

This can impact:

• having a conversation and socialising with friends/family
• being safe in your environment, such as finding your way home and identifying/solving problems
• performing daily activities, such as personal care, shopping and cooking
• management of finances, such as paying bills
• fulfilling work requirements
• independence and confidence

Cognitive assessment can be conducted in the client’s home, over telerehab (can we hyperlink this to the page please as a lot of people wont understand what it means) or in residential care facilities. Following assessment we can provide a report and design individualised therapy programs.
